Biography

Catherine Buxton, founder and vice-president of Windward Project Management, is a training professional with over 25 years experience in curriculum development, platform delivery, client relationship building, and executive management. Catherine brings an expertise in instructional design and an understanding of project management to Windward course development and client customization training requirements. 

  • Catherine has worked with clients in a variety of commercial and government organizations to support project management training initiatives. These initiatives have assisted workplace project teams to better plan and execute projects, measure performance, control change, manage project risk, and engage with stakeholders. Clients represent telecommunications, engineering, manufacturing, technology, health care, pharmaceuticals, scientific research and development, food safety inspection, energy, and financial services.
  • Catherine Larson Buxton holds Project Management Professional (PMP)®  and  Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® certifications. She has a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management. Catherine is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a graduate of the Veterans Institute for Procurement (VIP).
